Beautiful Beginnings
NFDA's beautiful beginning classes are designed to enhance gross motor coordination, listening skills, musicality and nurture imagination. Each class includes developmentally appropriate instruction through the use of music and dance Dancers have onstage performance opportunities in our annual Recital in May at the Canton Palace Theatre.

Ages 4 - 5

Ages 4-6
Children's Program: Beginning Level
With a focus on fun and friendship, NFDA has a beginning level program is the perfect opportunity for the early elementary school-age dancer to grow in confidence as they learn technique basics. Our beginning level program is recommended for dancers ages 4-6 years old who may want to take that next step in your recreational program, while still having fun. Dancers have onstage performance opportunities in our annual Recital in May at the Canton Palace Theatre.

Ages 7-9 & 10-12
Levels 1 & 2
By the time students are in our level 1 & 2 classes, they are ready to build foundations in proper dance technique in addition to the fun of music and movement! Our level 1 classes are recommended for our petite dancers (ages 7-9) and our level 2 classes are recommended for our junior dancers (ages 10-12). Dancers have onstage performance opportunities in our annual Recital in May at the Canton Palace Theatre

Ages 13-15 & 16-18
Levels 3 & 4
Our Level 3 & 4 students build foundations in movement, vocabulary, technique and choreography. Our level 3 classes are recommended for our teen dancers (ages 13-15) and our level 4 classes are recommended for our senior dancers (ages 16-18). Dancers have onstage performance opportunities in our annual Recital in May at the Canton Palace Theatre
